For HVAC, plumbing, electrical, locksmith

Answer at 2am.
Dispatch by 2:05.

Independent home-services SMBs miss 20–40% of inbound calls during service hours and most after-hours emergencies. Yomigo answers all of them in your voice — qualifying the job, confirming your service area, booking the slot, and paging the on-call tech.

The 2am call problem

The pipe burst.
The answering service didn't answer.

Your $200/month answering service has a 2-minute hold time at peak. Your CSR clocks out at 5. The on-call tech is asleep. Every emergency call that goes to voicemail is a customer dialing your competitor — and a review that mentions "couldn't reach them."

How it works

On your line
in under 15 minutes.

01

Pick a number

New Yomigo number or port your existing one. Numbers in 200+ area codes — match your local presence.

02

Connect your scheduler

Reads live availability from your Google Calendar or Outlook and books the slot during the call. Every job also fires a webhook with the full intake, so it can land anywhere else you keep work.

03

Set escalation rules

Tell Yomigo which job types are emergencies, who's on call when, and how to page them. The first 2am call goes through correctly.

Built for the truck

Everything a dispatcher does.
Awake at 2am.

Book service calls

Qualifies the issue, takes the address, and books the slot straight into your Google Calendar or Outlook while the caller is still on the line.

Triage emergencies

"Water everywhere," "smell of gas," "no heat with kids in the house" — Yomigo recognizes the urgency cues and pages your on-call tech immediately. No tier-2 menu trees.

Service-area gating

Always asks for the service address and reads it back before booking, so an out-of-area job is caught on the call — not by a tech who already drove there. You tell it your coverage area in the agent instructions.

After-hours mode

Toggle on after hours: routine calls get a callback booked for morning, emergencies get paged through. Stops dispatching the on-call tech for clogged-drain estimates.

Quote ranges, not promises

"Diagnostic visit is $89 — repair quote after the tech sees it." Yomigo holds the line on pricing structure so callers arrive at the right expectation.

Post on social, too

Optional Social AI add-on writes captions from the day's job stories ("Saved a basement from 4 inches of water this morning"), generates images, posts to Facebook + Instagram.

Honest comparison

Yomigo vs Answering Services

Human operators are warmer on emotional calls. AI is faster, more consistent, doesn't sleep, and knows your scheduler. Pick the trade you actually need.

Common questions

Owner-to-owner

Will it sound like a robot at 2am when someone's panicking?+
Judge for yourself rather than take our word — call +1 (413) 224-6437 right now and listen. The voices are current-generation and the prompts are tuned for emergency intake: calm, clear, fast. It gives its name when a caller asks who they are speaking with, and it is instructed never to claim to be a specific person.
What if the caller is outside our service area?+
Honestly: it asks for the address and reads it back, but it is not doing automatic geofencing yet — there is no service-map sync. Write your coverage area into the agent instructions and it will tell callers outside it. Every address ends up on the call record either way, so nothing gets dispatched blind. Automatic service-area gating is on the roadmap.
How does it know which calls are emergencies?+
You write it, in plain English. The shipped Home Services agent asks whether it is urgent as its very first question — active leak, no heat or AC in extreme weather, no power, any safety issue — and you can edit that list to whatever your shop treats as an emergency, like 'commercial walk-in freezer down'. It is instructions you can read and change, not a hidden rules engine.
Can it actually book into our ServiceTitan / Jobber?+
Not yet, and we would rather say so than surprise you. Native ServiceTitan and Jobber connectors are on the roadmap. Today Yomigo books straight into Google Calendar or Outlook during the call, and fires a webhook with the caller, the job type and the full transcript so you can route it into your scheduler via Zapier or a short script.
What happens if Yomigo gets the address wrong?+
Every call is recorded and transcribed. Address confirmations are explicit ("I have you at 124 Main Street, is that correct?"). You can listen back if anything looks off in the morning report.
We already pay for an answering service. Why switch?+
Hold time and consistency. Honest answer: a good human service is warmer on a hard call, and Yomigo is faster, never puts anyone on hold, and never goes off-script. Most shops start it on overflow only — nights, weekends and busy-signal — so it earns the rest of the line before it gets it.
How fast can the on-call tech actually be paged?+
Two ways, both while the caller is still on the phone: it can warm-transfer them straight to your on-call number, or text you the details so you can call back. Push notifications are not built yet. Call the demo line and try it — that is a faster answer than any number we could quote you.
What about commercial accounts with contracted SLAs?+
Not automatically yet — per-account VIP routing is on the roadmap. Today the practical version is naming your contracted accounts in the agent instructions and telling it to transfer those callers straight through without triage. It works, but it is instructions rather than a rule engine, so treat it accordingly.
